A creative workshop, where you will learn the art of wire wrapping to make your very own sea glass/pottery jewellery.

What you will make:

This is a 1.5 hour long. By end of the workshop you'll get to take away two unique piece jewellery handmade by you.

You’ll be shown how to make either a beautiful pendant necklace or a pair of earrings. These can be worn straight away or given as a gift.

Within the workshop will learn two different wire wrapping techniques, you’ll have a choice of colour wire to wrap your chosen sea glass or pottery and the be taught how to assemble your jewellery.

For the necklaces you will have a choice of colour cord to hang the pendant and when making the earrings the ear wires are made from hypoallergic stainless steel.

Caroline who runs the workshop lives near to Portobello and collects sea glass/pottery from beaches all over East Lothian and Scotland and then turn these into unique pieces of jewellery.She has a  large collection of sea glass and pottery from which you will be able to choose to create your own one-of-a-kind jewellery. 

You can also bring your own sea glass finds along too.

All the equipment is provided just bring yourself.
