Custom orders & delivery
Do you take custom orders?
Yes we do. Please get in touch at caroline@joyrevivaldesign.com
The item I wanted to buy has sold out can I order another one?
Each item is handmade and assembled and often unique, but if an item is sold out we can often make similar, please just get in touch and we can discuss making a bespoke design for you. caroline@joyrevivaldesign.com
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are processed within 2-3 working days. Items are quality checked, then carefully hand packaged eco-friendly packaging (designed to reduce packaging waste). These are then posted.
UK shipping and packaging time is 3-4 working days. If however you require your order to arrive more quickly or for a specific date, please do not hesitate to get in touch and everything will be done to accommodate this.
Will I receive notification of dispatch?
Yes, when your item has been lovingly packaged and then posted, you will receive an email to confirm that your item has been dispatched.
How much is delivery?
We currently only ship to the UK. If you would like an item sent further afield please get in touch to discuss. caroline@joyrevivaldesign.com
Prices vary depending on the product. Please check this at check out.
What should I do when my order arrives?
When you receive your product please ensure that the colour, design and quality are as expected before handling and discarding packaging.
Do you take returns?
We hope you will be delighted with your one-of-a-kind item. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer a refund on all goods returned to us within 14 days from the dispatch of order provided they are in the original packaging, unused and in a re-saleable condition.

Workshops
What kind of workshops do you run?
At Joy Revival Design in Portobello, Edinburgh, we offer a range of hands-on creative workshops including:
- Sea Glass Jewellery Making – including our popular Art of Wire Wrapping and the full Sea Glass Jewellery Experience
- Eco Lampshade Making
- Seasonal Workshops, such as Christmas Door Wreaths
- Coming Soon: Statement Fabric Earrings
Whether you're looking to learn a new skill or just fancy a creative escape, our workshops are relaxed, fun, and suitable for all levels.
Can you do private workshops or parties?
Absolutely! All of our workshops can be booked as private sessions – perfect for hen parties, birthdays, team-building events, or special get-togethers.
- At the Joy Revival Design studio in Joppa, we can host up to 8 guests.
- If you have a larger group, we’re happy to travel to a venue of your choice – we can accommodate up to 20 participants depending on the workshop.

How long are your workshops?
Workshop durations vary depending on the activity:
- Some sessions are just 1 hour, while others (like the full Sea Glass Jewellery Experience) can last up to 4 hours.

Where do you do your workshops?
Most of our workshops take place at our cosy garden studio in Joppa, Portobello (Edinburgh)– just a stone’s throw from the beach!
We also regularly run sessions at creative events, markets, and festivals around Edinburgh and beyond.
Looking to host a workshop at your own venue? Just ask – we love to travel!
Is there a minimum age for your workshops?
Most workshops are designed for adults, but:
- The Art of Wire Wrapping session is suitable for children aged 10+ and can be booked as a kids’ party.
- Children are welcome at other workshops too (with an accompanying adult), but please check with us before booking to ensure it’s a good fit.
Do you run workshops for businesses or corporate teams?
Yes – we offer creative corporate workshops across all our current formats. Whether you’re planning a wellbeing day, a team treat, or a creative breakout, we’d love to help.

Do you run kids' parties?
Yes, we currently offer Sea Glass Jewellery Parties for children (age 10+) – a hands-on, creative experience using the Art of Wire Wrapping technique.
- Up to 8 children can be hosted at the Joppa studio.
- We’re also happy to come to a venue of your choice.
Do you run hen parties?
Definitely! Our craft workshops make a brilliant activity for a hen do – relaxed, hands-on, and something to take home.
Contact us for availability and ideas.
What do I need to bring to a workshop?
- If you wear glasses for close work, bring them along.
- If you have long hair, a bobble might come in handy.
- Some workshops can be a little messy, so wear something you don’t mind getting creative in!
- For the Sea Glass Jewellery Experience, you’ll need to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear – we’ll be heading to the beach.
We’ll send full info after you book, so you’ll know exactly what to bring.
Is there parking near the studio?
Currently yes – there is free on-street parking near the Joy Revival Design studio in Joppa.
