This beautiful bag has been handmade in my Edinburgh studio using a combination of eco-friendly fabrics.
I strive to use planet-friendly products in my work, and this bag is no exception. I have sourced cork fabric for the base panel, and paired this with an upper section of gorgeous cotton geometric fabric.
Cork is a sustainable material because it is a natural product and the harvesting of it does not harm the trees. Cotton is also a natural fibre.
The lining is wipeable fabric. It is fabric which would have been previous thrown away as an off cut from upholstery. So saved from going to landfill.
