This beautiful bag has been handmade in my Edinburgh studio using a combination of vegan-friendly fabrics to create a unique accessory for any occasion. The detachable and adjustable cork strap allows it to become a clutch, crossover or shoulder bag.
I strive to use planet-friendly products in my work, and this bag is no exception. I have sourced stunning black cork fabric for the base panel, and paired this with an upper section showcasing beautiful cottonAfrican Wax Print.
Cork is a sustainable material because it is a natural product and the harvesting of it does not harm the trees. Cotton is also a natural fibre which biodegrades, and sourcing vintage fabric allows it to be repurposed.
